Where there is no attachment change in the course of the day, the register is signed on a daily basis to confirm that the driver has inspected the mechanism and that it is in good order. A key for the attachments is provided on the register for identification purposes. The person who is identified as having responsibility for plant on site will inspect the register at a maximum of seven days to ensure that the form is being used correctly.
