Let’s get ready for an exciting learning experience in Mrs. Stevenson’s math class. It is very important that you come to class prepared everyday with a positive attitude and class materials.

1 st Offense – verbal warning/student conference 2 nd Offense – silent lunch/parent contact 3 rd Offense – silent lunch/parent conference 4 th Offense – after school detention, parent contact 5 th Offense – office referral

GOLD – 60% of grade (tests, projects, presentations) Silver – 30% of grade (quizzes, independent practice, group activities) Bronze – 10% of grade (guided practice, homework, exit tickets, group discussions)

Given 3-4 times a week including some weekends Must show all work to receive credit Answers only = no credit Do in pencil ALWAYS Homework will be checked during class or collected. Grades for homework will be based either on real attempt, accuracy or a combination of both. HOMEWORK IS CRUCIAL TO YOUR SUCCESS IN MATH CLASS !

*Students are responsible for making up any missed assignments. According to the Code of Conduct book, student have three days to make arrangements for missed assignments with their teacher(s). *Students will receive partial credit when assignments are turned in late. *Students assigned Last Chance Café will received partial credit for assignment. Parent conference will be scheduled for any student attending LCC repeatedly.

Notebook Requirement : 1 ½ inch binder will loose leaf paper and dividers. Label each section : Dawg Paws(bellringers) Table of Content Notes/Vocabulary Assignments Reflection **All assignments must be completed using pencil only. Math is fun!

Everyone’s opinion and answer in your group matters. No one is finished until everyone in the group is finished.. Everyone in your group must understand all concepts and be able to explain to other group members. Groups receive rewards not individuals. Ask 3 before me.

Go outside using the door to the left of classroom Make a straight line in the grass area and wait quietly for teacher to call roll Tornado Drill/Warning – Three short rings… Go in the hallway with a book to cover your head Sit quietly on the floor with legs folded in

Everyone must remain in their desks until they have been properly dismissed by the teacher. DO NOT LEAVE WHEN BELL RINGS…WAIT TO BE DISMISSED BY TEACHER!
