THE CRUSADES CHANGE EUROPE - THE CRUSADES WERE A SERIES OF RELIGIOUS WARS FOUGHT FROM 1096 TO 1291 1291 BETWEEN THE CHRISTIANS CHRISTIANS OF EUROPE AND THE MUSLIMS MUSLIMS FROM THE MIDDLE EAST. THE ISSUE WAS WHO WOULD CONTROL THE "HOLY LAND", JERUSALEM.
