What is wind power? Wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form of energy, such as using wind turbines to make electricity, windmills for mechanical power, windpumps for water pumping or drainage, or sails to propel ships.

Advantages 1.The wind is free and with modern technology it can be captured efficiently. 2.Many people find wind farms an interesting feature of the landscape. Disadvantages 1.Wind turbines are a bit noisy.
