Individual: Students will have the opportunity to earn class tickets which can then get traded in for rewards. Table Groups: Table groups will work together in order to earn EYES. These will be used to pick tables to line up first, earn class tickets, go out to recess early, etc.. Whole Class: I will reward the whole class using our classroom marble jar. These will be rewarded when the class is on task, listening to one another, being respectful on campus, etc.. Once full, they will be able to choose a whole class reward, such as a movie or game day.

Consequences: If students are misbehaving in any way, they will be given a verbal warning. If the behavior persists, they will be asked to change their card. All students are responsible for themselves, their choices, and their actions. Bullying WILL NOT be tolerated. Our Class Card System: All Good! Warning Note Home Office

Sliding Grading Scale 4 4- Exceeds grade level standards with a high degree of mastery 3 3- Consistently meets grade level standards 2- 2- Approaching grade level standards 1- 1- Far below grade level standardsSemesters Semester 1: August 31- January 29 Semester 2: February 1- June 21 (progress reports given at parent conferences- week of November 16)

Reading Logs I will give the kids a new reading log every Monday. They will keep this in their homework folders each night and return it on Friday. They will be required to read 15 minutes every night along with a quick written response about what they read. A parent initial will also be required Monday-Thursday. Weekly Packets I will assign ALL of the homework on Monday, but there will be required due dates for each assignment. Please be sure that your child has the correct assignment completed.
