Original profile built in 1989 (15 yrs old) Not included in any previous reconstruction projects Profile has aged substantially and was not performing up to standard Area used frequently for feature races – HK Cup, HK Vase, APQEII, HK Derby

Aging of Stable Bend Drainage is lowered substantially To reduce the effect of organic matter accumulation, the Club has modified its maintenance procedures over the past 7 years to include more intense coring and sand topdressing, but performance of Stable Bend is still inferior due to its age
