CHILDHOOD Queen Victoria was born 1819 on the 24 th May at Kensington Palace. In 1820 her father King George III died. During her childhood she had a King Charles Spaniel named Dash. She collected 132 wooden dolls. In 1839 she was engaged to her cousin Prince Albert. In 1840 Prince Albert married Queen Victoria. Queen Victoria proposed to Albert. Her father died when she was 1. Victoria loved the opera. Victoria was buried with a dressing gown.

She had 9 children She had 34 grandchildren and only 26 reached adulthood Her first child was born in 1840 her name was Victoria.

Coronation It took place on the 28 th of June 1838. She had 8 train bearers (people who hold her dress) The Archbishop put her ring on the wrong finger Her coronation ring was too big so they had to make smaller because she was only 18.
