1. Carnegie Public Library Renovation Project 2008 More than thirty years have passed since the library interior was last remodeled. Public demand for library services, especially public computers has grown rapidly. Customers are requesting more materials from libraries all across the state. The Library needed to repair and paint plaster walls, upgrade lighting and computer wiring, and provide space for laptop use, study areas, and browsing and reading.

8. Dome - Before Five layers of paint covered the leaded art glass in the dome.

9. Dome Removal Twelve panels were removed and transported to Cleveland, Ohio for restoration. 2,556 pieces of colored art glass were removed and re-leaded.

19. Fireplace Vent less gas logs were installed to provide a cozy reading area on cold winter nights.

22. Large Print Room The Large Print Room was expanded to accommodate the growth of this popular collection.
