2.  Go to menu Window>Show Quiz Manager  Select the first icon (Create New Quiz)  Can also view, edit and delete existing quizzes from this window

3.  Name the quiz  Add in question (3 rd icon)  Then add in response types (last two icons)  Multiple choice  Short answer response  Save your quiz! (1 st icon) NOTE: You have to enter something into the Short Answer response. The Quiz Manager will permit you to manually mark responses that don’t exactly match.

4.  Open Quiz Manager, highlight quiz  Click on the View icon (last icon) Set a time limit (if desired) Administer the quiz OR

5.  Indicator at the bottom of the page shows how many have handed in quiz  Percentage of responses shown next to respective answers Use dropdown to view by individual

6.  Quiz stops after time limit has elapsed or all participants have handed in the quiz  You can stop the quiz at any time by clicking on the Stop button  You can let the Participants view their questions and answers by clicking on the View Results button

7.  Click the Stop button to return to Quiz Library  Quiz results file displays date and time of quiz

8.  In Quiz Manager window, click on the Save Quiz button  Save single or multiple quizzes  To reuse in other sessions  Save results  Save as a *.vcq file  Opens in Excel  If you forget to save quizzes or results, you are prompted before exiting the session

9.  To Open a Quiz  Click on the Open Quiz button  To Remove a Quiz  Click on the Remove Quiz button  This does not remove any saved quizzes on your computer; just in the Quiz Manager
