3.  The blue-eyed lemur has blue eyes. Its body is brown and black. Its 15 to 18 inches long and its tail is 20 to 25 inches long. It weighs about 4.4 pounds.

5.  The blue-eyed lemur lives in northwestern Madagascar. It lives in forests, dry woodlands and rainforests. It stays mostly in trees.

7.  The blue- eyed lemur eats leaves, bark, fruits and flowers.

9.  To protect itself, it is very aggressive and will fight. It also lives in trees to stay away from some predators.

11.  Blue-eyed lemurs live 20 to 25 years.  They are also called Sclater’s Lemur.
