Cataloguing tools All 4 labs will start to use bibedit CERN: LHC coll notes (update records) DESY: conf procs (new records) SLAC/Fermilab: only test records bibmatch Make it more fuzzy (Piotr) Test at CERN

Workflow LHC Coll Notes Start with CMS Notes Merge SPIRES id’s into CDS –based on report nr (Piotr) Copy unmatched records to Inspire –Mapping of MARC fields CDS → Inspire Correct records on Inspire –Inspire standard (e.g. affil’s) –serious test of bibedit/bibmatch Merge back to CDS –to be worked out
