2 PAGE 1NEIL ARMSTRONG Neil Armstrong is famous because he was the first human to touch the moon on July 1969. Hundreds of people were lining up for the Apollo 11 to shoot up into space. Neil Armstrong took the Apollo 11 to the moon.

3 PAGE 2 NEIL ARMSTRONG  Neil Armstrong was born on August 5 1930. His parents were Stephen and Viola.  Neil had a younger sister named Jane and a younger brother named Dean.  Neil was interned in airplanes.

4 PAGE 3 NEIL ARMSTRONG  By the time Neil was 15,he had earned his pilot license.  In high school, his favorite subjects were math and science and he was in Florida.  Neil, however, was able to attend Prude university in Indiana on a navy schorship.

5 PAGE 4 NEIL ARMSTRONG  Neil also had to spent a lot of time away from home giving speeches around the country.  On July 16,1969, Neil and Buzz and his two fellow Apollo 11 crew men rose in to space at 4:15 am to go to the moon.  Neil was the first human to touch the moon on July 20 1969.

6 PAGE 5 NEIL ARMSTRONG  On August 13, the three astronauts arrived back in New York city. Neil became a professor at a college in Ohio. Neil got married again to a women named Coral Herd Knight, who also enjoys flying. Neil Armstrong died when he was 82 years old on August, 25, 2012.

7 SMALL FACTPAGE 6 Neil's foot prints are still the there because there is no wind on the moon. That is why Neil’s footprints are still there.
