Peptic ulcers are ulcers that form in the stomach or the upper part of the small intestine, called the duodenum. It is an sore which means it’s an open, painful wound.

You could get peptic ulcer by drinking to much alcohol or smoking or chewing tobacco. You also could get it if your on a breathing machine. Also you could get it from having bacteria in your stomach.

If you don’t treat it things like this would happen: Bleeding in your body. Gastric outlet.

You body does try to fix itself because it’s healing, but you would still need some kind of treatment to help.

You would need to take some kind of proton pump inhibitor medicine to help heal. Examples of pump inhibitor medicine: lansoprazole, omeprazole, pantoprazole, ect.

Yes peptic ulcer is curable like any other sore. It’s the same but inside of your body, also needs to be treated so it will go away unless it won’t.
