Plant hormones are chemical substances that control a plant’s patterns of growth and development, and the plant’s responses to environmental conditions. The portion of an organism affected by a particular hormone is known as its target cell.

Protist/Fungi Lab Protist Lab 1: Collect a sample of pond water using a pipette. 2: Place one drop of water in the center of the slide and cover with a cover slip (small plastic square) 3: View under the microscope using the lowest objective, and move up. (DO NOT GO TO A HIGHER OBJECTIVE IF YOU DO NOT SEE ANYTHING! ASK FOR HELP!) 4: Take a picture/video of your PROTIST slide through the microscope and email it to me 5: Rinse and dry microscope slide and return to teacher.
