The great artist known as Raphael was actually born as Raffaele Santi. He was an italien renaissance painter sident of the born Raphael was only a Christian name. The name of his father was Giovanni Santi. His father died on August 1 st 1494.

This painting is no other than Saint-Sebastien made by the talented Raphael. As you can see Sebastien is holding an arrow that represents the symbol of his martyrdrom. Rapheal painted this painting from oil on wood for a period of one year (1501-1502). This man has suffered a lot for his faith.

When this painting was being transported to Sicily it was said that the painting went down with the ship. The monks found it there and said it was a miracle
