IN2P3 laboratory network 2 The Centre de Physique des Particules de Marseille CPPM linked to : ● The Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) is a public organization under the responsibility of the French Ministry of Education and Research. (staff 33,000 persons working on 1100 laboratories and 10 Instituts. ● Institut National de Physique Nucléaire et de Physique des Particules (IN2P3) is one of the CNRS’s Instituts (staff 2,500 persons) ● Aix-Marseille Université ( 8000 staff / 720000 students). The largest francophone university Staff : ~ 160 persons ● ~25 research + ~10 research/teaching ● ~70 ITA (engineers, technicians, administration) ● ~50 non-permanents (visitors, PhD, internship)
