2 About the Oyster... Oysters are the common name for Bivalves scientifically called Crosscstrea Giges. They are known for us eating them.. Except other kinds, such as pearl oysters, aren’t eaten by us although they are edible.

3 Where Does It Live?? Oysters live mostly in salt water, but can also be found in fresh water. They have 2 different shells made from calcium carbonate.
