A Little About Me Graduated from Christopher Newport University Grew up in Northern Virginia Redskins, DC United, and NASCAR fan Coached track at Hines last year (ALL-CITY CHAMPIONS)

Expectations I expect greatness from all my students. Please strive to do your personal best on everything. I expect students will be successful in anything if they just put their mind to it. I expect students to follow all rules and guidelines. I expect students to feel welcomed and safe in my classroom environment. If you ever feel as if I am hindering you from reaching these expectations, please feel free to talk to me.

Weekly Homework Every Thursday – Reading Log – Age-appropriate novel or other teacher-approved reading material – 5 Entries per week (in notebook) Every Other Thursday – Writing Notebook – Full Page (back and front, no skipping lines) of writing about a topic of your choice

Classroom Rules 1. Be positive, respectful, and polite. 2. Bring all needed materials everyday 3. Be in your seat and ready to work when the bell rings. 4. Stay seated and quiet while teacher or peer is talking. 5. Keep it clean and appropriate 6. Obey all school rules

Behavior Consequences Positive consequences for maintaining a good working environment include: 1.Praise! 2.Raffle Tickets 3.Phone calls or e-mail home Negative consequences for hindering the learning environment include: 1. Verbal Warning 2. Location Change/Reflection 3. Student Conference/Detention 4. Parent Phone Call/Conference 5. Administrative Action I reserve the right to call parent/ guardian at any time for positive or negative occurrences in school. In extreme cases, I reserve the right to refer a student to the office immediately
