7 The variance on this Main Division of the Vote is primarily attributable to the following: Compensation of employees: Delays experienced with the filling of vacancies on the establishment. Goods and services: Delays experienced with the launch of the Repair and Maintenance Programme (RAMP) on the Laboria House building in Pretoria (Head Office).

9 The variance on this Main Division of the Vote is primarily attributable to the following: Compensation of employees: An unforeseen high number of posts vacated during the financial year. Goods and services: Delays experienced with the appointment of Contractors in respect of Repair and Maintenance Programmes (RAMP) at various Provincial and Labour Centre offices. Payments for capital assets: Delays in the commencement of capital works projects in provinces (Rustenburg, Mount Ayliff & Bochum).

Goods and services: Delays experienced with the appointment of consultants for 5 pilot projects. Payments for capital assets: Delays in the commencement of the capital works project at INDLELA.

15 SOCIAL INSURANCE The variance on this Main Division of the Vote is primarily attributable to the following: Transfers and subsidies: Fewer than anticipated claims in respect of injuries sustained on duty by public servants were received.
