What is it? It is a menu of variety of foods that cost from 99¢ to about $3 depending on the item and are particularly in fast food restaurants.

Why choose the dollar menu? Its convenient fast, and cheap Compared to natural or organic foods at the supermarket, dollar menu items

Low Income Families Struggles Diabetes is a condition in which the body fails to break down glucose derived from food, a process normally aided by insulin. People who have what is known as Type 2 diabetes produce insulin, but it is inadequate. This type of diabetes is directly linked to obesity: People who are obese are up to seven times more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes than those of normal weight. Studies also show a link between Type 2 diabetes and a diet of refined carbohydrates, which causes insulin spikes in the bloodstream.

Cont. Income, diet, obesity, and Type 2 diabetes are all related, and the film suggests that our country’s farm system plays a significant part in their life's. Some say that food choices are a personal responsibility; individuals should be responsible for making healthier food choices. Argument: healthy food choices should be available to everyone and not just those with sufficient income; people shouldn’t have to choose between having healthy food and medicine
