2. T raditional Costumes were worn by common people for centuries. They played an important part of their everyday life. T oday they are valued as a part of our country's cultural heritage. T hey reflected the life of the people who made them and that is why they differ from region to region.

3. T oday we would like to show you traditional costumes from Slovakia. But because there are so many to choose from, we will present only costumes from bigger Slovak regions.

4. Záhorie I n the south west of Slovakia, it is one of the most important Slovak regions. The traditional costume is richly decorated and light blue is the typical colour.
