The built up electric charge. For example if you rub on carpet then touch anything metal, it will give you a shock. If you rub a balloon on your hair, and stick it to a wall, it will stay. Sometimes you will have negative, positive, or a neutral charge.

There are three types of circuits, a simple circuit, a series circuit, and a parallel circuit. They can be opened, or closed.

Bar magnets have two poles, and an electromagnet has only one pole. Electromagnets make electricity, and bar magnets don’t make electricity. An electromagnets has a different strength than a bar magnet. Both bar and electromagnets attract iron. Both bars make a magnetic field. They are both magnets.
