3 Hurricanes Tornadoes  Caused by very warm ocean water of eighty degrees Fahrenheit.  Hurricane predictions can fall into 2 categories: Seasonal probabilities, or the track of a current hurricane.  Caused by three different types of air coming together in a certain way.  Predicted by meteorologists by using the Convective Outlook. This tells where you can expect both severe or non severe tornadoes.

4 Hurricanes Tornadoes  Hurricanes are measured by their intensity, also. They are measured by the Saffir-Simpson Scale  Tornadoes are measured by their intensity and categorized by the Fujita Scale.

5 Hurricanes Tornadoes  1-2 days for hurricane watches. 24-48 hours for hurricane warnings.  1-2 days during a tornado watch. 36 hours for a tornado warning.

6 Hurricanes Tornadoes  Secure property  Have a plan  Have a supply kit  Know your way around your city/town.  Get a supply kit. It should include water, food, and a plan to exit your house, and current city/town.
