Hurricanes Tornadoes Caused by very warm ocean water of eighty degrees Fahrenheit. Hurricane predictions can fall into 2 categories: Seasonal probabilities, or the track of a current hurricane. Caused by three different types of air coming together in a certain way. Predicted by meteorologists by using the Convective Outlook. This tells where you can expect both severe or non severe tornadoes.

Hurricanes Tornadoes Hurricanes are measured by their intensity, also. They are measured by the Saffir-Simpson Scale Tornadoes are measured by their intensity and categorized by the Fujita Scale.

Hurricanes Tornadoes 1-2 days for hurricane watches. 24-48 hours for hurricane warnings. 1-2 days during a tornado watch. 36 hours for a tornado warning.

Hurricanes Tornadoes Secure property Have a plan Have a supply kit Know your way around your city/town. Get a supply kit. It should include water, food, and a plan to exit your house, and current city/town.
