Pivot Tables Save it with a different name than the original Ensure you have column headers Look through the data for potential problems/blanks/typos Step Three: Preparing the data

Pivot Tables Place cursor anywhere inside the data Click on the “Insert” tab Step Three: Preparing the data, cont’d.

Pivot Tables Excel will highlight your data and insert the likely range Click OK and your table will appear on a new worksheet Step Four: Providing the data range

Choose “Classic PivotTable layout”. Click OK at bottom.
