Elizabeth: “If you think I am one, then I say there are none”- Act 2, Page 200 This is an example of dogmatism because when Hale asks Elizabeth about being a witch, she replies with the above. She says there is no such thing as witches, just because she is convicted of being one.

Proctor: “But if she say she is pregnant, then she must be!”- Act 3, Page 212 This displays dogmatism because John Proctor believes his wife can’t tell a lie, even though she did. He knew nothing about her pregnancy, yet he still believes she is, when told she is by the court.
