Human and Cultural Characteristics The Australian Brand YEAR 9

Physical Environment Natural features of the Earth's surface, especially in its current aspects, including land formation, climate, currents, and distribution of flora and fauna.

Platypus The Platypus is a unique Australian species. Along with echidnas, Platypuses are grouped in a separate order of mammals known as monotremes, which are distinguished from all other mammals because they lay eggs.

Human Environment How we affect and are affected by the environment, and also how we disturb the natural environment. Therefore, human environment interaction looks at the interaction between human social systems and larger ecosystems. An example of human environment interaction is found in the discussions about climate change. The majority of scientists believe there is evidence that human activities contributed to the on-going changes in global temperatures and climates. In response, people are now attempting to change these actions. Many speculate on how humans will be forced to adapt to the effects of climate change in the future, as well as how humans might modify the environment in attempts at countering the changes.

Cultural Characteristics This is the study of cultural products and norms, and their differences across and relationships to spaces and places. This includes; language, religion, economy, government and other cultural phenomena that change or remain the same, from one place to another. This understanding will help to explain human function. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_Australia
