You must use a reputable, trusted source. 2.One of Ms. Spurr’s favorite sources is http://go.grolier.com/ http://go.grolier.com/ 3.On this website, just type in your country and the word government and you’ll get a lot of helpful information. Example:Canada Government

3 Research Help: 1. Go to http://www.kyvl.orghttp://www.kyvl.org 2. On the “For Students” drop down menu, click on “Middle School.” 3. Click on the “Student Research Center” button. 4. Click on the “Country Reports” button. 5. Type in your country’s name in the search box, and click “Search”

4 Your Chosen Country: Your Name:

5 Country Location You should include the following: – Cardinal and intermediate directions to the country from Kentucky – The capital of your country

6 Country Government Describe the government, making sure to answer these questions: – Who has power? – How is power obtained? – Which of the key four types of governments best fits your country?

7 Comparisons Use the answers to the Country Government questions to compare your country’s government to the U.S. government. COUNTRYU.S.A.BOTH

8 Citations Be sure to correctly cite where you retrieved the information you used for your PowerPoint.
