2. Happy New Year

4. We have New Year’s Day on January 1. Before New Year’s Day we send our friends New Year wishes, or we ring them up in the evening on December 31.

5. On the night Of December 31,we are usually at home with our family or with some friends. We give presents to all the family for the New Year, and we have a New Year tree with lights and Decorations.

6. At 12 o’clock we say to each other, “Happy New Year!” and we answer: ”Thanks, the same to you.”

7. I like to get presents on New Year’s Day. My best gifts are modem and flash-card on the holiday. I am interested in computer and I was very glad to get it. The New Year’s Day is my favourite holiday!
