The Rules n Hitting the ball –Each team is entitled to hit the ball 3 times to return the ball –Players can hit the ball anywhere as long as the ball does not appear to rest in that area n Serving –A player may serve the ball once the ball is dead n Rally Scoring –A point is awarded once the ball is dead

The Team-6 players n Libero –Defensive player –Can only play on back row –Can’t attack the ball –Wears a different colored jersey n Setters –They set the ball –Usually play in middle or back row n Hitters/Attackers –They attack the net –Play front row –Usually most athletic
