2. Evidence Should the government make community college free for all students? Thesis: The government should make community college free for all students because the amount of debt incurred by today’s college student negatively impacts the United States’ economy. Supporting Argument: If students didn’t have to take huge loans to go to college, more money could be put into the economy through spending. Evidence: “About 70% of 2013 graduates left college with an average of $28,400 in debt” (US News).

3. Chapter 1 As we finish reading Chapter 1, make note of any quotes that connect to any of the essentially questions. Your goal should be to add three quotes from each chapter to the essential question tracker.
