ALICE experiment : goals Observation of the Cerenkov signal created inside the fibre. Optimization of the signal by: Changing the angular position of the fibre Changing the fibre and testing different fibre with different properties for choosing the suitable candidate Changing the properties of the beam i.e. energy between 10 and 20 MeV and number of bunches. Comparison between a signal of the fibre in standard condition and a signal coming from different loop off the same fibre with different bending radius. Radiation hardness of fibres and detectors.
