Barcelona – some places to see La Sagrada Familia: The Basilica of la Sagrada Familia, consecrated by the Pope in 2011, is the most important building and one with the most symbolic and religious value representing the city of Barcelona. It is a Bible in stone that best shows the design and construction by Antoni Gaudí. La Pedrera: In Barcelona, La Pedrera, also known as “la casa Milà” is an impressive building located on the street known as Paseo de Gracia. It is a building of flats with original shapes, designed by architect Gaudí using a modernism style. Its shapes and exterior appearance remind you of a pile of stones with undulating forms. Because of this fact, it has had many interpretations: the waves of the sea, the shawl of the Virgin, a sacred mountain. Main museums of Barcelona MNAC : At the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) (National Museum of Catalonian Art), you will be able to view the most important collections of Romantic art in the world.
