Charge dependent relative difference in primary track transverse momentum between Sti (.dev) and TpT On STAR collaboration meeting we have claimed that: There is unexplained charge dependent difference between Sti and TPT momentum which was not observed in October version of Sti. There is no such split for simulated data. The main differences between October and February versions –Full refit of primary tracks (before it was used primary vertex as a hit) –Smoother Because we did not understand the difference it was decided to step back with Sti version to October one in order to provide a stable environment for Fast Offline. pp 2005 1%

3. Plan Use external detector Check hit pulls which are used in fit

4. External detector – ToF, p/pbar mass difference observed with TpT, AuAu200 M 2 = p 2 (1/β 2 -1) Δ M 2 /M 2 = 2 Δ p T / p T ~0.2% ~0.4 % ~0.9% Haidong Liu

5. External detector – ToF, p/pbar mass difference observed with TpT, CuCu62 The same observed in CuCu 62 Jing Liu (unfortunately we cannot reprocess with new Sti because ToF calibration is still not in Db) ? ~0.2% ~0.4% ~1.2%

6. Pulls The main tasks are –To reassess hit errors which we do use Create parameterization for TPC hit errors for different magnetic fields SVT and SSD hit errors –To see what systematical shifts do we have especially for primary tracks Pulls can be found at (a lot of credit to Victor) http://www.star.bnl.gov/~fisyak/star/ITTF/Pulls/ Pulls looks good. We are ready to restore the latest version of Sti in dev.

7. Time scale I do believe that –if we don’t find any problems with pulls then we will complete this reassessment in a week scale. –Otherwise it will take a few weeks.
