4. ITU-T Q.9/12/13 Activities Ethernet-focused specifications –Q.9/11/12: Ethernet related work Q.9 – Equipment Functions and Protection Q.11 – Interfaces, incl. GFP/LCAS specs –Q.12: Ethernet architecture and services G.8010, G.8011.1, 2, 3 –Q.12 also plans G.8080 (ASON) revision –several specifications planned for consent in 2/06 –meetings planned for fall 2005

OIF Activities Completed Ethernet-focused Interop Demo in June (Supercomm) Liaison to this meeting on results Current work: –completion of UNI 2.0 (includes Ethernet, call/connection, dual homing, modification) –initiation of E-NNI 2.0 project –continuation of work on routing and interoperability

6. OIF Ethernet Interest 2005 Demo –focused on control plane setup of Ethernet/SDH private lines, using VCAT/LCAS –raised some issues on TSpec (see Liaison) UNI 2.0 –also discusses control plane setup of Ethernet virtual services –waiting on CCAMP activities for l2sc for more detail
