Sea Turtles Thousands of sea turtles are unable to lay their eggs because oil stays on the surface of the water. When female turtles try to swim onto shore its difficult to get there because the oil is to thick. When baby sea turtles try to get off shore, they are unable to swim through the oil because they’re not strong enough to swim in something so thick.

Sea Otters Global warming is hurting sea otters by warmer water. Oil spills are harming sea otters because they swim in it and the food that they eat are dying by oil spills. Sea otters eat sea urchins, crabs, oysters, and small fish. Those marine animals are dying because of oil spills and warmer water. Sea otters are on the endangered list because of those reasons.

Fish The fish industry is getting angry because of oil spills in the ocean water. This is because the fish are dying from oil spills and CO2 dissolving into the water. The fishing industries are not getting paid as much as they use to. This relates to the food chain. If the fish die then the food chain will be ruined because most animals eat fish.

Coral Global warming is affecting coral by killing their food. Their food is a cell that is in their body. The coral reefs are dieing by heat. The water is getting warming so the coral dies because coral needs to stay in cold water. The atmosphere is a barrier to our planet so it won’t get to hot. Hot water is increasing a disease that kills coral, but there is no way we can fix this. Global warming is affecting coral by killing their food. Their food is a cell that is in their body.
