When water goes into the air it changes from liquid to gas. Water is in the air you breathe. About 2/3rds of your body is made up of water.

The Water Cycle What is it?
The water cycle is the only way that Earth can have all the water it needs. The sun’s heat is the most important part of renewing our water supply.

Parts of the Water Cycle
There are 4 parts: Condensation Precipitation Accumulation Evaporation

Condensation This happens when the clouds start to form
Examples are clouds, dew, and steam

Precipitation This is when rain falls from the clouds.
Examples are rain, snow, sleet, and hail

Accumulation This is when the water makes puddles or collects in a bunch. Examples are puddles, lakes, rivers, and oceans.

Evaporation This happens when the sun’s heat dries up the puddle and the water turns into water vapor.
