2. There are many different approaches to creating a magazine collage. You can draw and color a background and find words and images to glue onto it. You could create a collage that is personal and contains subject matter that you like or descriptive words. You could draw the contour outline of a picture and collage inside with magazine using the appropriate color to enhance your creation. You could Draw a landscape, color it and cut out houses, people, trees, cars, etc. to glue down. The possibilities are endless. Let’s look together.

20. Art 1/ Agenda Decide on which type of collage you would like to attempt. If it requires a background or drawing then work on that first. Not sure what do?: Do a personalized collage. I will explain. Next, begin searching through magazines. Cut out words and pictures that appeal to you. If you are doing more of a mosaic then keep in mind the colors you may need. DO NOT CUT TOO MANY THINGS. ONLY TAKE WHAT YOU NEED. Arrange your pictures in an aesthetically pleasing way and begin gluing. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF OR WE END PROJECT.

21. 6 th Grade Agenda In pencil, draw a simple background design. This could be a pattern or you could challenge yourself and be a bit more creative. Color the entire background in marker. Cut out words and pictures from magazines that catch your eye. Arrange and glue them in an aesthetically pleasing way onto your background. Remember to follow your rubric.
