Learning Commons @ Palmer Middle Recent Examples of Media Specialist Activity Taught the research process to 6 th grade reading students including choosing a topic, locating sources, collecting notes, and writing research questions. Located, downloaded, learned, wrote and taught a 7 th grade science iPad app lesson. Assisted 6 th grade STEM and 8 th grade social studies students in downloading videos from iPads to desktops for editing. Provided recommendations for great books to students in all grades.
