2 Brainstorming ● Automatic hashtagging system - When you’re using Twitter, Facebook or Instagram this third party app allows you to use popular trending hashtags in your area so that you don’t have to come up with hashtags yourself. ● To-Do list with a twist - Motivational tool that can be used to help people accomplish both short and long-term goals. If goal isn’t completed then user suffers a penalty. ● Car Parking (Auto Park) - This app allows you to reserve car spaces in order to take the stress out of parking in busy areas.

3 ● Car Parking Service ● This service allows you to download an application where you make a user profile. ● You enter your personal details e.g banking details, name, DOB. ● You enter your cars details e.g type of car, license plate, size. ● Once you have your profile set up you can then reserve a space in a car park. It allows you to choose from the spaces that are free. ● This service means you pay a bit extra to get the space but it saves a lot of hassle because you know your space is guaranteed. ● Once you arrive to the carpark the space has a bollard that reads your license plate, allowing you to enter the space. 6 ● Universities - Most campuses have a large number of carparks to facilitate staff and students that drive. ● County Councils - They maintain the public car parks in city centres and surrounding areas. ● Privately owned car-parks - There are privately owned car-parks around the city that would benefit from this service. 7 ● 2,200 car parking spaces in UL - This number consists of both staff and student car-parks. ● There are currently around 11,000 students in UL - 5 times the number of free spaces. ● We interviewed drivers around UL and as a result were alerted to the severity of the car-parking problem. ● This year there has been an increase in the amount of students attending the university and this has led to a demand for more car-parking spaces.
