1 Livi’s Train Tour of the Northeast Region. By Olivia (Livi).

2 West Quoddy Head is the farthest Northeast. The Sun rise’s here first. The West Quoddy Head lighthouse was built in 1808. West Quoddy Head Lighthouse was one of the first lighthouse’s ever built.

3 Mt. Washington is one of the windiest spots in the world. One time the wind speed reached 231 MPH in 1934!!! It is the tallest peak in the Northeast region. Mt. Washington is I New Hampshire.

4 The Mayflower landed here in 1620. The pilgrims thought that some of the people on the boat signed the mayflower compact. It landed in Plymouth with 102 people aboard. The pilgrims started domacarsay by having the people vote for there governor.

5 In Washington D.C. you can see where President Brock Obama lives. This is also were are country’s democracy roots are. The three branches of government are The Executive, The Legislative,, and The Judicial Branches. The Executive Branch is run by the president and the president make sure that the laws are enforced. The legislative branch is congress and they make the laws. The Judicial branch is the courts and they make sure that the laws fallow the constitution.

6 The Chocolate Factory There is the biggest chocolate factory in the world!!!! It is because it has the best people power and water power.

7 Boston is one the oldest city's in America. The Revolutionary War started around here on war grounds.

8 The Erie Canal connects the great lakes to the Hudson River. It was manmade and it is 340 miles long and has 83 locks. A lock is like a water Elevator.

9 The Population is 8 million people (just in the city).There are so many skyscrapers and different languages on every street that you go to.

10 The Declaration of indepencies was signed at Independence Hall. The Main Reason it was written to declare are freedom from Great Britten.
