3 Forming Project Group Maximum 5 Members -Group Leader -Scribe / Secretary -Researcher X 2 -Time Keeper Every member will participate in the project presentation -Group Leader will divide the presentation among the members of the group.

4 Brainstorming Using the 5W1H approach, Who are the target audience? (ie. fellow students, residents etc.) What topic do you wish to share? Why do you choose this topic? What message do you wish to send across? How are you going to present your topic? (ie. assembly, exhibition)

5 Carrying Out Research There are several resources that you can depend on when you carry out your research: -Library (School / National Library) -Internet Website (ie. HPB, MOH) -Newspaper Articles (to support your findings / explanation) -Magazines (to support your presentation) -Posters -Videos Remember to: -Record the source (To acknowledge them) -Summarise what you find in your research, Do Not Copy too much information

6 Putting Them Together As you have previously decided what and how to present your findings, you should have chosen any (or some) of the following: -Powerpoint Presentation (sometimes too common, INNOVATE!) -Creating Blog / Page and share, with Q&A (with prizes) -Poster Presentation -Presentation involving multiple modes: -Powerpoint Presentation -Research Findings -Videos (through research) -Interviews

7 Presenting Your Project There are several platforms that you can choose to present your project: -School Assembly (arranged by your TIC) -Poster Exhibition and Presentation (Presenting your poster) -Classroom Sharing (with other groups/schools) -Online Presentation with Q&A -Game Show, with presenting knowledge to the audience

10 Assessing Your Project The assessment criteria will cover the following, based on the rubrics provided: - Application of Knowledge and Skills10 marks - Product (Creativity / Originality) 5 marks - Presentation (min. 3 photos of product) 5 marks - Project Learning Process 5 marks TOTAL25 marks

11 Teacher / Officer to conduct the Course Form Group (Project Week 1) Brainstorm for Ideas (Project Week 2) Preparing Materials for submission (Weeks 2 to 5) Project Presentation (by Week 6) Submission of report by teacher (by Week 7) Review and Assessment by HPB (around 2 weeks) Award of Certificate by SJAB HQ (the following week) What happens next? Here is the entire process flow from the start of your course till you receive the proficiency badge (if you complete and pass the project)
