The fire was only the beginning

It turned his life upside down

Joey an innocent boy goes to school everyday

Maureen Joey’s neighbor Innocent girl

One day he was over his grandma’s house and something went terribly wrong

The oven caught on fire

They all evacuated the house, but their cat was still in there, Preston

His mom runs in the get Preston, but doesn’t come out

His life turned upside down and his whole personality changes

Later that month he was in school, and they just got new fire alarms

In his history class, he heard “This is --------- fire drill”

He has a bad feeling in his gut, he has to get out of there

He gets up in the middle of class and leaves, he takes Maureen with him

Once he gets out, the fire engine comes and they go into the building

When the fire fighters get out, there are no survivors except for Joey and Maureen

All the parents and family members are blaming the fire of Joey and Maureen because they are the only survivors

When he gets home and settles, he can’t get the fire off his mind

He draws it all out

He draws all of his classmates

Weeks after the fire, people whose children have died, they come and harass Joey and Maureen

They threw dangerous items and put Joey and Maureen in danger

Then, his friends funeral is in a few days

Joey and Maureen don’t know if they are ready to go and face all the parents or town members

The day has come, Joey and Maureen are ready to go to the funeral

When Joey gets up to the stadium to talk, he explains everything that happens

Everything makes sense now, now everybody understands what has happened that day in history class

The audience gets up and starts to clap for him

After the funeral the family members and parents are changed

Then, they stop harassing Joey and Maureen

Later that week Joey and Maureen go back to school

The students finally accept him

Even now the town members stop bothering them and accept them into their neighborhoods

The town members have all learned a very important lesson

Never judge a person, if you don’t know their story
