2. A) Two Reminders: 1) God is already on mission to His world. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:8-9, NIV) - “Missio Dei” = “mission or sending of God”

3. A) Two Reminders: 1) God is already on mission to His world. “all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:3b, NIV)

4. A) Two Reminders: 1) God is already on mission to His world. "I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God... because that is why I was sent." (Luke 4:43, NIV)

5. A) Two Reminders: 1) God is already on mission to His world. 2) Jesus' mission is our mission. “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.” (John 17:18, NAS) “As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” (John 20:21, GWT)

I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 7. A. Why tell my story? 1. Every Christ-follower has a story to tell. 2.People identify with stories. 3. Your faith story has authority in it. "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know - I was blind but now I see!" (John 9:25, NIV)

8. B. How to Move Forward 1)Accept that you are sent by God to be a missionary to our culture. 2)Look at the kinds of needs Jesus addressed and do that. "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." (Luke 4:18-19, NIV)

How to Move Forward 1)Accept that you are sent by God to be a missionary to our culture. 2)Look at the kinds of needs Jesus addressed and do that. 3)Ask God to reveal the specific need He wants you to address. 4)Talk to your pastor or other followers to voice your call. 5)Find or we will form the mission group needed to help you live out your calling. decisions or do good works. 6)Make sure your goal is to make disciples, not just to get decisions or do good works.
