Adopt the National Alzheimer’s Association ® Dementia Care Practices; and 2. Develop and implement strategies to embed them in all service delivery systems. 14

Practice recommendations are based on “person-centered care”; fundamentals of care tailored to the abilities and changing needs of each resident.
