4. B-52 Boeing B-52 Stratofortress -Strategic Bomber Plane -Created by Boeing -First Flight April 15 1952 -28 Sac (Strategic Air Command) B-52 planes used to target North Vietnam, drop bomb from 300 ft Austin Chee -used in Operation Arc Light, first combat mission

5. Foo Gas - Conner Chee  A 55 gallon drum to detonate napalm  Projects a burning liquid on a target  Used by the US special forces  Creates a perimeter of defense against the Vietnamese

6. Agent Orange - Conner Chee  A mixture of chemical to destroy foliage  Eliminates cover from NVA and Viet Cong  A powerful herbicide that caused serious health issues among both the Vietnamese and US troops

7. Rainbow Herbicides - Conner Chee  A collection of herbicides and chemicals used in the Vietnam War to clear forest cover  Includes well known herbicide: Agent Orange  Destroyed crops  Caused major health issues

8. Helicopter used as Medevac, transport, gunship, etc. Most used helicopter in Vietnam. Could transport 13 troops. Huey Justin Quinn

9. Chinook - Dan Fish American helicopter Used for troop movement, artillery placement, and battlefield resupply. Used by Americans Maximum weight limit of 7000 pounds. Had to be careful not to overload it.

10. Operation Rolling Thunder Bombing campaign on North Vietnam from March 1965 to October 1968. Hundreds of aircraft shot down by North Vietnamese. 4.6 million tons of bombs dropped. 2 million vietnamese killed. Justin Quinn

11. Napalm - Dan Fish Flammable liquid, used to affect large areas Used by Americans Effective against enemy, occasionally used against Americans by accident. Troops affected would need treatment for burns.

12. Operation Crimp - Dan Fish Operation to seek and destroy underground Vietnamese operations. Used bombs on trails and underground dwellings. Joint effort by Americans and Australians Effectively dealt with problem but tunnels were later used to stage tet offensive.

13. M134 “Minigun” The minigun was mounted on the side of helicopters as a way to eliminate enemy troops from the sky. The minigun can shoot 6000 bullets per minute Justin Quinn
