Marquis de Lafayette was a French aristocrat. He served as a major-general in the Continental Army under George Washington. He was wounded in the Battle of Brandywine. He served with distinction in the Battle of Rhode Island. During the middle of the war, he returned to France to negotiate an increase in French support. Upon his return, Lafayette blocked troops led by Cornwallis at Yorktown while the armies of Washington prepared for battle with the British. He was married to Marie Adrienne Noailles and they had four children. He was a patriot.

He was the ruler of England, controlled all laws in Great Britain and also the British Army. He had a son, he was the prince of Wales. King George III was neither a patriot or a loyalist.

He joined the army, served under Marquis De Lafayette and became a patriot spy who posed as a runaway slave to the British to get information. James was born into slavery, and took the name of his owner, William Armistead. He was a patriot.

He served under Colonel John Langdon, he was a protector of Portsmouth Bay. He also made a midnight ride just like Paul Revere to warn the people of Portsmouth Bay. Most of his family was born into slavery, however he was free. He married seventeen year-old Mary Davis, and they had thirteen children. Wentworth was a patriot.
