5.  Insert the CDROM  Open the Novice 1 folder by using Windows Explorer  Run the Setup.exe  Specify the destination directory ◦ (e.g: c:/ or d:/)  Select: Full – Install all files. Installing Novice 1

12.  Vertical Approach  Open the ATM_Maker_Exercises.xls file.  Select a test format from the available sheets  Copy the text  Paste it in the Notepad  Save it as a Plain Text file (e.g. 99.txt)  Save it in the Besmart/Research folder  Run ATM to try it out.

13.  Horizontal Approach  Open the CALL.doc file  Select/copy one paragraph  Paste it a new word document  Break it down into sentences  Open the Maker.xls file.  Paste the sentences into the data sheet  Type the expected answers and their clues  Select a test format from the available sheets  Copy the text(s)  Paste it in the Notepad  Save it as a Plain Text file (e.g. 99.txt)  Save it in the Besmart/Research folder  Run ATM to try it out.
