Illinois Report Card Released annually (Fall) Shows progress at school, district, and state levels Three components: – At-A-Glance Report Card (one page, printable) – Online Report Card (more detail) – Classic Report Card (1998-Current)

Percentage of Eighth Graders Passing Algebra I Reports percentage of students who have passed Algebra I by eighth grade Required by Public Act 097-0671

Enhanced Educator Data Reflects data gathered from ISBE’s Employment Information System (EIS) Implemented in response to Section 10-17 a (2) (E) of School Code ILCS 5/10-17a.

Health and Wellness Reports the average number of days that each student attends physical education per week. Implemented in response to the Enhance Physical Education Task Force and Section 10-17a (2) (B) of School Code 105 ILCS 5/10- 17a.

Post-Secondary Remediation Displays the percentage of graduates who attended an Illinois community college and were enrolled in remedial courses Not currently measured at 4-year universities or private universities

Average Class Size Now available with corresponding charts and district- and statewide comparisons

Ready for College Graphs Offers comprehensive graphs that show how average student ACT scores align with ACT’s definition of college readiness

Freshmen on Track Reports the percentage of students who finish freshman year “on track”

Student Mobility Reports the percentage of students who transfer in or out of the school/district

Dropout Rate Reports the percentage of students who are removed from the local enrollment roster before the end of a school term

Racial/Ethnic Diversity Reports the percentage of students belonging to a particular racial/ethnic group

Low-income Students Tracks students in families receiving public aid, living in substitute care, or eligible to receive free or reduced lunches

English Learners Tracks students whose primary language is not English

Principal Turnover Measures the number of principals who have worked at a school in the past six school years

Teacher Retention Shows the 3-year average percentage of teachers returning to work at the selected district. Retention percentages are shown by the bold sections of each ring. Rings are color coded for school, district, and state.
