2  ISI staff have significant roles at MHPCC  Bob Lucas is the CTO  Dan Davis is leading the DoD Outreach effort  MHPCC can have a vital function within AFRL  It is now the locus of many HPCMP programs  As CTO and Outreach, ISI can be gate-keeper  We’ll see any research amenable to ISI research  Can steer both end-users and researchers to ISI Positions also give entrée to DoD commands:  Operational  Procurement  Others  Will concentrate on creating new research efforts 2

3  Use MHPCC as springboard for ISI research  Leverage Bob’s and my long-time contacts, personal and professional, to find new work  Monitor MHPCC outreach for ISI opportunities  Contact major commands to muster support  Create a visible ISI/USC presence at MHPCC  Host MHPCC activities at ISI and at conferences  Encourage MHPCC authors to co-author with ISI  Investigate ISI/USC status (Resch Prof?) for key research PhDs at MHPCC 3

4 1.Existing directed research at MHPCC 2.AFRL Directed Energy research areas 3.Become DoD HPC center for Human Behavior 4.Battlefield Sims and DEN for Officer Education 5.T&E on HPC, Hawai'i relationship with PMRF 6.MHPCC and ISI AI for K-12 for DoDEA, NSF, and Dept of Education, et alii 7.Visions for Cyber Warfare Command enabled by MHPCC and ISI SCI capabilities 4
