This article mentioned that in order to for a website to be deemed successful, not only must it download fast, it must also look good. Basically, the author of this article is an advocate for all things minimal. I agree with this article as it has so many benefits; minimalist sites load faster, take fewer server resources, and are often faster to develop than more graphically complicated designs (Chapman, 2014). The extra graphic should only be placed in the website if it will definitely ensure the return of the visitor to the website as it will contribute to the increase in waiting time. Waiting time is very important as according to Moz (2012) it is far more likely to lose some prospective customers simply because they can get the service elsewhere, without having to wait for a page to load.
